Advanced. We have set aside a few days throughout the year for the fiercest riders There will be short and long route distances, strong competitors at these distances, and, of course, honest winners. At the end, we all gather together on the ground for the award with the official closure of each racing block
Rules of participation
You can sign up minimum 4 of and maximum
of 6 participants for races one at a time, with 6 participants you can rent a full boat with an instructor for the entire team

Experienced. We have set aside two days for the deepest level of training. Each day will be accompanied by a detailed briefing and two outings on the water. We have also provided a lunch so that you can refresh yourself on shore. Both days will conclude with a detailed debriefing and the final day will be a validated training session

What we are competing on
Fareast 28R
The Fareast 28R is an international keel racing yacht with classic popularity in Europe, China and the USA. ​​It is a well-designed boat for a crew of three to six people, easy to handle and a high performance one design class racing sailboat.

Among other things, the Fareast 28R is a very seaworthy boat on which you can feel the yacht on the waves, adapt to racing in sea conditions and get a new experience. ​​Even with a length of 28 feet, FAREAST 28R can easily reach the maximum speed of 20 knots. During the race with you on the boat will be our experienced instructor.

How to get to Wind Rises Dubai

You can come by car to our base in two ways: through Sheikh Rashid Rd or directly through Marina Cubes Street. We are located beside Fil Fil Aswad Cafe as the nearest landmark.

There’s a public parking space around the area. Please arrive 30 minutes early prior to your schedule in case of any inconvenience. For location assistance you may call us or use Whatsapp on: +971581065026.

If you plan to arrive by train, the closest metro station to Port Rashid would be Al Ghubaiba Metro station. Once you exit Al Ghubaiba Station, you can get a taxi to take you to the Port, which should take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic.

What to do after purchasing

Come to the base 30 minutes before the start. Our admin will meet you, explain the basics before the training, and introduce you to the team and your coach. we divide participants into groups based on their sailing experience, so please be specific about your abilities when booking.

Have a pre-race briefing with the referee to refresh the racing theory, get to know the route, and review safety basics. Remember that the regatta is about completing the course in the fastest term while following the rules

What to Wear

Let's look at each point a little more closely to understand what is needed and why.

  1. Sailing gloves (we can let you borrow gloves during the training if you don’t have your own)
  2. Non-slippery and non-mark sneakers
  3. Hooded windbreaker (from november to february weather)
  4. A cap or other sun headgear
  5. Sunscreen with SPF 50+
  6. Sunglasses strap and hair clips/bond
  7. It is advisable to bring extra clothes in case your clothes get wet, (especially if it’s to windy 17-18 knots)
  8. When it comes to clothing, it's best to use common sense. If it's hot and sunny, wear shorts, a T-shirt, and apply high SPF sunscreen. On cooler days, opt for comfortable pants and a windbreaker. If there's precipitation expected on the day of training, prepare by bringing extra pants as there are changing rooms available at our base. Be sure to check the weather forecast in advance.
  9. It is advisable to have a meal at least 1-2 hours before your scheduled workout to fuel your body and to stay hydrated, make sure to drink enough water.

What is Prohibited

  1. Alcoholic drinks and safety violations are not permitted
  2. The sailing instruction commences promptly, and it is imperative that you arrive on time, as no tardiness is permitted for sailing.
  3. Swimming is not allowed during the sailing session or while on a sailing excursion.
  4. Physically challenged person with (diseases, fractures, dislocations) and pregnant woman.
  5. Inappropriate clothes and shoes (puffy or long dress and heels)
  6. While cameras are permitted, it's advisable to either tie them down or avoid carrying big cameras to avoid any responsibility
  7. Drinking alcohol on a boat, no food on a boat
  8. Sailing experience without a vest

Important note - you can't take off your life jacket even for a photo.

Nope, it’s almost impossible to roll over on a keelboat

The answer is yes! Our mission is to popularize sailing to the masses, so we’re happy to see newbies joining us! You can also visit one of our regular yachting-theory master classes to prepare better in advance. Or get to the regular trainings straight ahead — our experienced instructor will enroll you in the process smoothly
